Chris Cleven

County Commissioner (Vote for 2)

Chris Cleven moved to Albany County in 1999, attended school here, raised five children here, and built his life around this community. He spent more than 20 years in public service as a Laramie Police officer, volunteer firefighter, and search-and-rescue member. At the department he served as Crime Prevention Officer, certified DARE officer, TiPS trainer, budget manager, and lead field training officer for new recruits. He earned a letter of accommodation for solving a series of vandalisms and burglaries that affected more than 50 residents, and a life-saving award for performing CPR.
As an entrepreneur he founded Drive Smart WY, a driver-education program approved by the Wyoming Department of Education and the Wyoming Department of Transportation. His family has operated Lazy S Farm for more than a decade, supplying raw milk locally, and he recently launched Blue Line Auto to restore straightforward, family-oriented service.
Chris is a Republican candidate for Albany County Commissioner. He brings real-world business experience and a fiscally conservative approach focused on responsible decisions that protect property rights, keep roads and services working, and preserve the outdoor way of life that makes this county home. He will put the same practical focus that guided his work on the force and in business to work for the people of Albany County.
