Dwain Streeter

Clerk of the District Court

Dwain Streeter has served as a Deputy in the Albany County Clerk of the District Court office since March 2009. He is the Republican candidate for Clerk of the District Court.
In that role he has helped residents with court records, payments, child support, passports, and navigating the court process, especially those who cannot afford a lawyer. He emphasizes practical service, flexibility, and keeping the office user-friendly for people dealing with stressful legal matters.
Streeter believes the office should remain focused on its core duties under Wyoming statute and Supreme Court standards. He has spoken about the value of experienced staff, the need for careful spending that does not undermine essential services, and the importance of coordination with other county offices and the courts.
He will bring more than 17 years of day-to-day experience in the Clerk of Court’s office to the elected position, continuing to put clear, helpful service first for the people of Albany County.
